2019 Shooting Stars set for March 23

The 2019 Alberta Shooting Stars All-Star Weekend is taking place March 23 at SAIT in Calgary.

This is the 26th edition of the event, which is unique to girls basketball and the biggest high school all-star game in Canada, with nearly 200 participants each year.

A full day of action is on tap, with the first game beginning at 9 a.m., and the last one tipping off at 7 p.m.

There will be five Prospects games, featuring players in Grades 8-11, and a pair of Senior All-Star Games, featuring the top Grade 12 players in Alberta.

Additionally, there will be a three-on-thee championship for all players.
