In the Paint Edmonton - November 10&15

On behalf of the Alberta Basketball Association, I would like to extend an invitation to o?u?r first weekend of basketball learning and development opportunities that we have branded as 'In the Paint' in Edmonton on November 10th & 15th, 2019. ABA believes offering its members focused events with high level facilitators, that will emphasize the development of all levels of coaches and athletes, will enhance the experience of all who contribute to the game. Special Considerations: - Professional Development points will be awarded to any attending coaches with NCCP certification to those that have registered through the GamePlan website. 

Here is the line-up for you to consider: 

Sunday, November 10th- NCCP FUNdamentals Clinic *ABA Members cost reduced to $75 (Standard fee is $99)

8:00am-5:00pm @ Saville Community Sports Centre

This dynamic first level coaching course includes hands on training in decision making, modified games approach, LTAD, safety, age appropriate practice planning and skill development. After completing this program, the coach will have NCCP basketball FUNdamentals- trained status. Reagan Wood, Head Coach at Concordia University of Edmonton, will bring his engaging teaching style and extensive experience as the Learning Facilitator. 


Friday, November 15th - COACH SCHOOL - $40.00

4:30pm-9:00pm @ EXPO Centre

Canada Basketball will be hosting the Olympic Pre-Qualifier where the Canadaian Women’s Basketball team will compete for their chance to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. During the coaching school experience, coaches will have opportunities to attend a Canada Women’s Basketball  practice and interact with SWNT coaches and staff afterwards. Participants will receive a game ticket to attend their game on November 16th!
