ABA alumni recognized for fantastic Canada West seasons

Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) alumni was well represented as Canada West announced its 2019-20 All-Star and All-Rookie Teams on Feb. 20.

Six Team Alberta alumni were recognized for their tremendous seasons: Summer Masikewich of the Saskatchewan Huskies and Vanessa Wild of the Alberta Pandas were named to the women’s All-Star Team, Lethbridge’s Kacie Bosch and Calgary’s Erin McIntosh were selected to the women’s Second All-Star Team, Matthew Ellis of the UVic Vikes was named to the men’s Third All-Star Team, and Mount Royal Cougar Nate Petrone earned a men’s All-Rookie Team selection.

Their hard work has paid off in being recognized as the best in their league. ABA is proud to have been one of the organizations that have been part of their journey.”
