ABA COVID-19 Statement

ALBERTA BASKETBALL 

Due to the rapidly evolving circumstances as well as recommendations from the AHS and Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer, and actions being taken to combat the spread of the COVID 19 virus, all Alberta Basketball Association activities, programs and events are postponed indefinitely until further notice. The ABA office will be closed until further notice; however, the staff will be working remotely and can be reached by email or by phone. 

We will provide further information as updates become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding; please be safe, we wish you all good health in the upcoming days.

These updates are important in aiding sport leaders in assessing the risks associated with travelling for events, training and competitions.

Alberta Basketball and Canada Basketball will continue to monitor this evolving situation and its impact on sport travel and will aim to share any further risk mitigation measures for COVID-19.  This page will be updated if and when details change.
