ABA is proud to launch Hoops @ Home

The Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) is rallying the province around the game with the launch of Hoops @ Home.

This innovative new program features components for players, family, and coaches, and is geared towards building knowledge, skill development, physical activity, and fostering togetherness during trying times that are forcing people to keep apart, while staying ready for when time comes to get back on the court.

Videos featuring ABA’s accomplish team, including world-class player Steve Sir, community mentor Ethan Sir, and award-winning coach Reagan Wood, will be posted on ABA’s You Tube channel and social media platforms, providing viewers with drills and exercises they can do at home, instruction and tips for coaches, games and activities that can fun for everyone.  

“ABA joins in solidarity with all of our members in our commitment to the health and safety for all Canadians.,” says Paul Sir, ABA Executive Director. “We want to add our voice to being part of the solution to stay active and keep our passion for the game of basketball alive. Basketball is a game for life and we can have it remain a part of our daily routine as we work together to get through these challenging days.”
