The Respect in Sport Program is an online certification program designed to protect our youth as well as enhance Alberta Basketball’s directive of providing a safe and fun environment for all of our participants. Parents want to do a great job supporting their kids. Respect in Sport provides parents with the tools to create and maintain Safe Sport environments. The Canadian Sport Helpline will provide callers with advice on the next steps they can take, as well as direct them to the most appropriate national and local services and resources available to them, including the police, child protection services, existing provincial/territorial helplines, or any other relevant services.
