At Alberta Basketball, we are proud to be a small part of a much larger community of incredible organizations that work tirelessly to make a positive impact. While we are dedicated to promoting basketball across the province, we recognize the importance of supporting and celebrating other programs that are also doing important work.

Programs in Our Community

• Sport Central is an Alberta-based Charity that was founded in 1991. We receive, repair, refurbish, and redistribute gently used sports equipment to kids aged 4-17 in families facing financial hardship. We serve kids from Red Deer, up to the northern border of Alberta. Last year, we served 13,264 kids - a 26% increase from the previous year! Click HERE for more information on how to donate!
