A special message from ABA Executive Director Paul Sir

'We Are Alberta' is a unifying statement that we have adopted at the Alberta Basketball Association. It symbolizes what our province stands for in meeting our greatest adversary head on. United we face COVID-19 with all of the courage, determination and steadfastness we can muster together, as a province and as a nation.

In the time of our greatest challenges one word that is not used enough is ... FUN! Let's enjoy life and the opportunities before us even when what we have grown accustomed to is disrupted. 

Basketball has unlimited ways to have fun even by yourself or with your family. Check out 'Hoops at Home' at abbasketball.ca. Here are some examples of some great ideas; Ryan Dunkley shows you how to have a great time shooting in your driveway, Coaches Isabel Ormond and Ken King have some clever games for you to play, and check out Dave Oldham's newest video for some great ways to enjoy hoops in the springtime!

Let basketball be a part of your day in staying active and enjoying yourself. Stay in touch with your friends, but most importantly, stay safe and healthy.
