Alberta Basketball is taking the Alberta ID Camp to the next level! The camp will now be known as the AB ID Combine and take place prior to the start of regional Academies. All athletes are welcome to sign up and take part in the Combine that will feature the following:
- Reversible Jersey
- Canada Basketball Staff in attendance
- High Quality Coaching from ABA selected coaches
- Performance Testing (provided by The Game Forever) includes video of testing
- Speed, quickness, agility, and strength testing as per Canada Basketball standards
- Skill and Drill Instruction led by Canada Basketball
- Scrimmage/Game Play assessment
- Opportunity to be identified to Canada Basketball
- Selection for ABA AB/ID program and ABA CB Academy programs
- Get a head start on selection and Identification for Provincial Team programs
Age Groups: 14U and 17U (players will attend all sessions for their specific age group only)
*There are no requirements for the Combine - just register and tryout!
Girls Combine: August 29-31, 2025 - Edmonton - EYBA Centre
Boys Combine: September 12-14, 2025 (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday) - Edmonton - Saville Centre
**Please arrive 1/2 hour prior to your age group's starting time to check in at the registration desk, upstairs outside of the entrance to the track
Cost: $125.00
If you are unable to attend the Combine or CB Academy, there will be open tryouts for each regional academy and there will also be an open tryout for Team Alberta (January each year). See details under programs and then Team Alberta.
