With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us; please see the recent update below from the Government of Alberta and Alberta Health Services (AHS):
On Thursday, October 8, Dr. Hinshaw announced voluntary measures to help slow the spread of COVID-19 for the Edmonton Zone and surrounding areas.
We would like to ensure that all of our members in the Edmonton Zone including the communities noted below aware of the following change:

Edmonton | Spruce Grove |
Evansburg | St. Albert |
Fort Saskatchewan | Stony Plain |
Gibbons | Thorsby |
Leduc | Surrounding villages and businesses |

Additionally the Guidance for Parents of Children Attending School and/or Childcare resource was made available that has some good flow charts included that are likely relevant to our environment.
ABA supports these voluntary measures and would like to remind our members outside of the Edmonton Zone that although these measures are only currently applicable to the Edmonton Zone, things can and will change rapidly, so let's all stay safe and follow the suggestions and rules put forward.
