Albertans Crocker and Gibb attending Canada's U17 women's training camp

Jun. 23, 2022

Alberta’s Lauren Crocker (Calgary) and Delaney Gibb (Raymond) are among the 14 athletes that will be attending Canada Basketball’s U17 women’s national team training camp in Toronto, beginning June 23.

The training camp is for the FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022, which takes place July 9-17 in Debrecen.

Gibb (5-10/point guard) made her national team debut last summer at the FIBA Americas U16 Women’s Championship 2021. Crocker (6-4/forward) has not yet played for Team Canada.

Canada’s U17 women’s team coaching staff includes former Alberta provincial team coach Nate McKibbon.

Good luck to our Alberta athletes!
