Draw Announced For U Sports Final 8 in Edmonton

U Sports announced the seeding on Sunday (March 3) for the U Sports Women’s Final 8, presented by the Westin Edmonton. The 2024 national tournament runs March 7-10 at the Saville Community Sports Centre on the campus of the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

The complete field, in seeding order, is as follows:

Saskatchewan Huskies (CW champions: 19-1 regular season, 3-0 playoffs)
Carleton Ravens (OUA champions: 21-1, 3-0)
Saint Mary’s Huskies (AUS champions: 17-3, 2-0)
Laval Rouge et Or (RSEQ champions: 16-0, 2-0)
Alberta Pandas (CW finalists: 14-6, 3-1)
Queen’s Gaels (OUA finalists: 18-4, 2-1)
UFV Cascades (CW bronze medallists, host berth: 17-3, 2-1)
Calgary Dinos (at large berth: 16-4, 0-1)
