ABA alumni Katherine Plouffe and Michelle Plouffe were on hand in their hometown of Edmonton on May 30, to take part in the official launch of the 2024 edition of Hoop City 3x3.

Hoop City 3x3 will take place July 5-7 in the Fan Park at Ice District in downtown Edmonton. The largest 3x3 event in Canada, Hoop City 3x3 will feature the best international teams from around the world competing in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour and FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series.
Katherine and Michelle are members of the Canadian women’s 3x3 team that will be competing at the 2024 Olympics, and Hoop City 3x3 will be Team Canada’s last event before heading to Paris for the Summer Games. The Olympic 3x3 competition is scheduled for July 30 - Aug. 5.
Community teams will also be part of Hoop City 3x3. Registration is open to youth or adults, including male, female, and co-ed teams. New this year is a wheelchair division.
