Jul. 07, 2024

A trio of Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) alumni helped Canada’s 3x3 Women’s National Team triumph on home soil.

Kacie Bosch (Lethbridge), Katherine Plouffe (Edmonton) and Michelle Plouffe (Edmonton) teamed with Saskatchewan native Paige Crozon to win the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Edmonton Stop on July 5-6.

Team Canada went a perfect 5-0 over two days of competition in the Fan Park outside of Rogers Place in downtown Edmonton, including a dominant 21-11 victory over Dallas 3XBA in the championship final.

Katherine Plouffe was awarded MVP of the stop, after leading all competitors with a player value of 48.2.

Canada’s 3x3 Women’s National Team will next be in action later this month, at the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris. ABA will be hosting a watch party for Team Canada. Stay tuned to the ABA website and social media for details.
