Albertan student-athletes recognized by Canada West
Five Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) alumni were among the students-athletes recognized on Feb. 27 when Canada West announced its 2024-25 men's and women's basketball all-star and all-rookie team selections:
- Annacy Palmer, University of Alberta (hometown: Edmonton) - Women’s First Team All-Star
- Myriam Kone, University of Calgary (hometown: Edmonton) - Women’s Second Team All-Star
- Nora Luca, Mount Royal University (hometown: Calgary) - Women’s Third Team All-Star
- Tsuki Tsuzuki, University of British Columbia Okanagan (hometown: Calgary) - Women’s All-Rookie Team
- Nate Petrone, University of Calgary (hometown: Calgary) - Men’s First Team All-Star
Additionally, two other student-athletes from Alberta were honoured:
- Mya Proctor, University of Calgary (hometown: Calgary) - Women’s Third Team All-Star
- Angelo Mbituyimana, University of Lethbridge (hometown: Calgary) - Men’s Third Team All-Star
