Another successful edition of the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Youth Provincials wrapped up on March 16 in Calgary, with championship finals taking place at sites across the city and metropolitan area.
Youth Provincials 2025 tipped off on March 14, and featured 159 teams competing in a total of 254 games, contested on a total of 17 different courts spread across 10 venues. There were 26 divisions, spanning the U11, U13, U15 and U15 age categories for both boys and girls.
"Once again, Youth Provincials showcased the best of our game at the grassroots/community level and reminded us all why we love basketball,” says Dave Drabiuk, ABA executive director. “We appreciate the time and dedication of coaches and volunteers that made this event possible.”
