ABA Alumni of the Week: Xavier Spencer
University of Massachusetts Lowell men’s basketball student-athlete Xavier Spencer has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for Dec. 8 - Dec. 14, 2025.
The Calgary native scored an NCAA career-high 17 points in a 75-71 loss at Quinnipiac on Dec. 13. He shot 6-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-4 on three-point attempts, and going 2-for-3 at the charity stripe.
Spencer also established his NCAA career high with two blocks, while recording five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes played.
For the 2025-26 season, the junior guard is averaging 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.4 blocks through 12 games.
Spencer represented his province at the 2019 Canada Basketball 15U National Championships in Fredericton, N.B., where he helped Team Alberta capture bronze and was named a First-Team All-Star.
