Alberta provincial team veterans Yvonne Ejim and Brynn Masikewich are among the 12 athletes that Canada Basketball has named to its team for the upcoming FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018. The roster was announced on July 9.
Ejim and Masikewich, who both hail from Calgary, made their international basketball debut last summer when they helped Canada win silver at the FIBA U16 Women's Americas Championship. They also played for Team Alberta at the 2017 Canada Summer Games last August.
