There’s less than one month to go until open tryouts for the 2019 Alberta Basketball provincial teams, and registration is now open!
Open tryouts for 15U Boys, 15U Girls, 17U Boys, and 17U Girls will take place in both Calgary (at SAIT) and Edmonton (at the Saville Community Sports Centre) on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019. Athletes can register by following the instructions on the Team Alberta 2019 page.
The provincial team selection process will continue with an assessment camp for invited athletes only on Jan. 20 at the Saville Community Sports Centre. Schedules are as follows:

3. Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th - Final Team Selection - Invited Athletes Only

The final team selection will take place on April 27 and 28 for invited athletes only. Athletes selected will form the 2019 provincial teams, which will participate in the Canada Basketball National Championships (Boys and Girls 15U and 17U teams) or Western Canada Summer Games (Boys and Girls 16U teams).
