Team Edmonton won the 2019 Canada Quest 3x3 West Final, which was contested at the Edmonton Expo Centre on July 13 and 14.
A dominant performance saw Edmonton win all six of its games over two days of competition, including an emphatic 21-5 victory over Old Montreal in the championship final.
Edmonton advanced to the final on July 14 by beating Winnipeg-Grizden 21-13 in the quarter-final round and Winnipeg AP 21-13 in a semi-final. Previously, on July 13, Edmonton won all three of its games to finish first in Pool A.
Edmonton's lineup consisted of Jermaine Bucknor, Jordan Jensen-Whyte, Kyle Landry, and Steve Sir, who are all Alberta Basketball provincial team alumni.
Next up for Team Edmonton is a trip to Saskatchewan, where they will compete on July 20 and 21 in the 2019 Saskatoon Masters, a FIBA 3x3 World Tour event featuring top teams from around the globe.
