Return to Play Approved Steps

In Alberta we are fortunate to have organized sport during these times. We all have a shared responsibility to ensure the safety of all participants, it is essential that all of the “Return to Play Guidelines” are followed.

September 1st is the start of the 2020-2021 ABA Membership year and we look forward to working together to provide a safe return to play for all involved.

NCCP CLINICS

With Government of Alberta guidelines and Alberta Basketball Return to Play guidelines now being in place we are able to again offer NCCP Clinics.  We will be hold a Learn to Train in Edmonton next weekend - August 29 & 30 at the Edmonton Expo Centre.

Please note - you must be prepared to follow all health regulations and return to play protocols, including having a mask, to attend. With updated guidance from the department of Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation we have been able to open these clinics to coaches from anywhere in the province.

Full details and to register are available in GamePlan by clicking the button below

Due to COVID-19 considerations, ABA is working with community stakeholders on our plan to safely offer the TAS Program across the province.

At this time ABA will not be running Junior and Senior Academy programs.

Please stay tuned for more details as they become available.
