After more than two years, the province will come together in a celebration of basketball.
The 2022 Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Youth Provincials takes place Friday (March 11) and Saturday (March 12) at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton.
This marks ABA’s first major basketball event since the last edition of Youth Provincials, on March 6 and 7, 2020. The 2021 edition was cancelled due to the impact of COVID-19.
With well over 100 teams from across Alberta are participating, there will be 132 games played in a span of two days. Medals will be awarded in 16 divisions, ranging in age from 11U - 15U, for boys and girls.
Competition tips off at 11 a.m. Friday, and continues through 8 p.m. on Saturday evening
