Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) alumnae Yvonne Ejim and the Gonzaga Bulldogs begin their road to the Final Four on Saturday (March 23).
In the first round of the 2024 NCAA Women’s Division 1 Basketball Tournament, Gonzaga takes on the UC Irvine Anteaters at the McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Wash. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time.

Canadian viewers can catch the action on TSN5. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 in the United States.
The winner of Saturday’s game advances to the second round, where they will face either Utah or South Dakota State on Monday (March 25) at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Ejim’s remarkable senior year continued on Wednesday (March 20), when she was named an AP All-American Honorable Mention. The senior forward, who hails from Calgary, previously received the West Coast Conference (WCC) 2023-24 women’s basketball Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards.
