Trio of Albertans named to Canada's 3x3 women's Olympic Team

On June 10, Canada Basketball and the Canadian Olympic Committee announced the announced the roster for the Canadian Women’s 3x3 team that will compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer.

 

The four-player roster includes a trio of Albertans, all who during their youth were part of Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) provincial team programming: Kacie Bosch of Lethbridge, and Edmonton’s Katherine Plouffe and Michelle Plouffe. Canada’s roster also includes Paige Crozon of Humboldt, Sask.

Canada qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by finishing third at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament last month.

The 3x3 competition at the 2024 Summer Games takes place from July 30 to Aug. 5 at La Concorde in Paris.
