Canada placed atop the Group A standings with a record of 3-0, and advanced to the gold medal game after defeating Mexico in the quarter-finals and Brazil in the semi-finals. The United States beat Canada in a closely contested final at Coliseo Bicentenario on Sunday (June 23) night.
Over 6 games, Leung averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds, Nwaobi averaged 6.0 points and 6.3 rebounds, and Yeich averaged 12.5 rebounds and 6.0 rebounds.

Congratulations to Olivia, Ify and Nyadieng on a tremendous tournament.
