Calgary to host 2026 U Sports Men's Final 8

It has been announced that the 2026 U Sports men's basketball Final 8 Championships will be hosted by the University of Calgary, March 5-8, 2026, at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium.

This will be the first time since 1980 that the University of Calgary has hosted the U Sports men’s basketball championship. This event was last held in Alberta in 2022, when the University of Alberta hosted men's Final 8 in Edmonton.

The tournament will feature eight teams, including the host Dinos, competing over three days to hoist the W.P. McGee Trophy.
