University of Victoria men’s basketball student-athlete Geoffrey James has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for Jan. 27 - Feb. 2.

In his team’s 83-75 win at Lethbridge on Jan. 31, James scored a game-high 22 points and set a career-high for three-pointers made after shooting five-of-six from beyond the arc.
In 16 games this season, James is averaging 9.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 steals. He leads the Vikes with 30 three-pointers made.
