University of Saskatchewan women’s basketball student-athlete Maya Flindall has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for March 10-16.

The third-year guard helped the Huskies win gold at the 2025 U Sports women’s basketball Final 8, which took place March 13-16 in Vancouver, B.C. Flindall totalled 22 points over 3 games at the championship tournament, as Saskatchewan defeated Alberta 67-58 in the quarterfinal, beat UBC 85-63 in the semi-final, and topped Carleton 85-66 in the final.
A native of St. Albert, Flindall competed for Team Alberta at the Canada Basketball 15U girls national championships in 2019.
