Gonzaga University women’s basketball student-athlete Yvonne Ejim has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for March 24-30.
While Gonzaga lost the WBIT Quarterfinal by a score of 82-77 (OT) to Minnesota on March 27, Ejim delivered a historic performance in the final game of her NCAA Division 1 career.
The senior forward racked up 27 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Ejim shot 12-for-18 from the field, including 1-of-2 from three-point range, and made two of three free-throw attempts.
