ABA Alumni of the Week: Geoffrey James
Winnipeg Sea Bears guard Geoffrey James has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for May 26 - June 1.
James continues to be a key contributor off the bench for the Sea Bears, playing a total of 30 minutes in Winnipeg’s games on May 28 and May 31.
The Edmonton native, who was selected by Winnipeg in the first round of the 2025 CEBL Draft, has appeared in all five games for the Sea Bears so far this season. He leads Winnipeg with a free-throw percentage of 100.0 and ranks third on the team with six steals.
James represented Alberta at the 2016 Canada Basketball 17U Boys National Championships in Winnipeg.
