ABA Alumni of the Week: Pippa Gibb

Pippa Gibb has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for June 16 - June 22.

The point guard from Raymond helped Team Canada place second at the FIBA U16 Women’s AmeriCup 2025, which ran from June 16 to 22 in Irapuato, Mexico. Canada went 5-1 at the tournament, with its only loss coming to Team USA in the final.

In 6 games, Gibb averaged 9.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and a team-best 3.2 assists per game. She also finished third among all players at the tournament with 22 steals after recording at least three steals in every game.

Gibb has competed for Team Alberta at the Canada Basketball 15U Girls National Championships each of the last two years. In 2024, she helped Team Alberta win bronze and was named a First Team All-Star. She will be a part of Team Alberta at the upcoming 2025 Canada Summer Games.
